Working from a Biblical and Christ centred theological paradigm ATS provides excellent theological training by means of various tuition methods such as intramural classes, learning centres, home study and distance education programmes.
ATS aspires to develop within their students the ability to create a meaningful life for themselves and others.
The ATS has successfully assisted students from as far afield as Africa, Asia, the USA and Europe at obtaining their certificates, diplomas, bachelor’s, master’s and doctor’s degrees in Pentecostal Theology.
The curriculum of the ATS is contextualised for Africa's unique challenges and is also able to hold its own in comparison with international theological standards and curricula. The International Institute of Qualitative Research at the University of Alberta, Edmonton, Canada, endorses the ATS as a co-operating research site in Africa.
The ATS has the experience and capacity to provide world-class theological training and research programmes. ATS has enlisted the services of highly skilled lecturers who are supported by an efficient administrative system and staff complement.
ATS has three campuses in South Africa:
- The main campus in Auckland Park, Johannesburg
- Border campus in Umtata, Transkei
- Covenant campus in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal
Periodic guidance is given to distance students at different learning centres country-wide.
