This certificate covers the following modules:
- Counselling youth: Understanding youth in their phases of development
- Counselling methods: Understanding & managing the skills in counselling youth in crisis
- Dealing with aspects related to youth in crisis: sexuality, substance abuse; depression & suicide, drugs and counselling the terminally ill.
This certificate starts with a 3-4 day practical course to be attended after which the assignments and exam can be done by correspondence.
