- An accredited Masters degree in any theological field is required. Registration is with UJ and ATS together.
- Learners can apply for a merit bursary at UJ.
- This research degree must be completed within two to four years.
- A thesis on an approved topic based on research findings, must be submitted.
- An oral examination (the equivalent of two papers of 4 modules each) on a prescribed topic in one of the following theological disciplines:
- Systematic Theology and Ethics
- Practical Theology
- Church History
- Missiology
- Old Testament
- New Testament
Please consult one of the ATS lecturers of the specific field of interest with regard to you proposal after you received the information for application and registration for the ATS and UJ.
