D Litt et Phil in Theology An accredited Masters degree in any theological field is required. Registration is with NWU and ATS. Candidates can apply for a merit bursary. This research degree must be completed within two to four years. Candidates must do research and compile a thesis in any one of the following disciplines: Church History Systematic Theology and Ethics New Testament Old Testament Practical Theology (Pastoral Care, Preaching, Liturgy, Leadership, Children’s and Youth Work) Missionary Science Please consult one of the ATS lecturers of the specific field of interest with regard to you proposal after you received the information for application and registration for the ATS.
